Anne L. Cooper![]() Anne is a native of Lancaster County. She graduated with honors from Shippensburg University in 1977 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. She was employed by the Lancaster County Children & Youth Agency prior to attending law school. Anne graduated from the Duquesne University School of Law in 1983. Following graduation, she worked as a law clerk for the Honorable Ronald L. Buckwalter, U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, then serving as a Judge of the Court of Common Pleas of Lancaster County. Since 1985, Anne has been in private practice. Prior to joining Devine Law Offices, LLC, she was a shareholder in the firm of Geisenberger & Cooper, P.C. for fifteen (15) years. She also served as a part-time Assistant District Attorney in Lancaster County for eight (8) years prosecuting misdemeanor and felony cases, including a first degree murder case. Anne is a member of the Lancaster and Pennsylvania Bar Associations and is also admitted to practice in the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern District and the Middle District of Pennsylvania and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 3rd Circuit. Since 1992, Anne has represented the Lancaster County Children & Youth Agency as one of its solicitors. She practices primarily in the areas of family law, Social Security Disability, and wills and estates. Anne lives in Lancaster County with her husband and their two daughters. Anne's interests include skiing, walking her dogs, reading, and playing the piano. Anne has served on various Boards including the Board of Directors of Parents Anonymous, the Mental Health Association in Lancaster County (n/k/a Mental Health America of Lancaster County), and the Lancaster Ski Club.
